How far are we willing to go with God in this hour? ~ Prophet Derrick Hawkins

Jesus Christ preached to multitudes and then turned around and went to the grave yard to minister to one demoniac man who was possessed with a legion of demons. Jesus focus was to do the will of God and bring Glory to the Father! Successful ministry for Jesus was not limited to preaching to a big crowd or in a synagogue. However success to Jesus is doing the will of His Father, even if it meant accepting a ministry engagement at a graveyard! Are you willing to go places to that are only appealing and convenient ,or are you willing to go to the places that are not so appealing and convenient? Remember the garden of gethsemane, calvary and the underworld! Jesus went to those places for us willingly out of love and compassion for mankind to Glorify His Father! How far are we willing to go with God in this hour?

Carnality hinders spiritual growth! ~ Prophet Derrick Hawkins

Amplified Bible (1 Corithians 3:1-5) 1.HOWEVER, BRETHREN, I could not talk to you as to spiritual [men], but as to nonspiritual [men of the flesh, in whom the carnal nature predominates], as to mere infants [in the new life] in Christ [unable to talk yet!] 2.I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not yet strong enough [to be ready for it]; but even yet you are not strong enough [to be ready for it], 3.For you are still [unspiritual, having the nature] of the flesh [under the control of ordinary impulses]. For as long as [there are] envying and jealousy and wrangling and factions among you, are you not unspiritual and of the flesh, behaving yourselves after a human standard and like mere (unchanged) men? 4.For when one says, I belong to Paul, and another, I belong to Apollos, are you not [proving yourselves] ordinary (unchanged) men? 5.What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Ministering servants [not heads of parties] through whom you believed, even as the Lord appointed to each his task: Living carnal hinders spiritual growth; even though the Lord loves and meets us where we are, we cannot remain where we are if we are going to continue to follow him. Competition, strife, jealsouy, divisions and etc are the results of living carnal. The Word says to be carnally minded is death and to be spiritual is life. God is not pleased with his children settling for living carnal. However He wants his children to live and be holy even as he is. Some may say it don't take all of that. That may be correct for a person who is not broken and is not willing to give God what he desires. However for the people who wants to fulfill God's plan for their life and destiny, it will require them at some point to live as God has said. For example if you were to get hired as an accountant for a large accounting firm, there are certain rules and guidelines that cannot be exempt. Also if a bodybuilder only works out, on his  upperbody and neglect his lower body, he would be imbalanced & hindered from growing into his full stature. Especially, if he insist on doing it his own way(pride), instead of doing it the right way. The same is true in the Kingdom of God as it relates to being children & citizens of the Kingdom of God! To truly embrace and abide in God's love there has to be a daily sacrifice of self and surrender to Christ. As much as we think that we belong to ourselves, we are not our own (Born-again believers). For we have been bought with a price; by the precious blood of the Jesus Christ. Family know matter what area we may have been falling short in, if we truly seek God for healing and deliverance, he will set us free. However after we receive we have to maintain it by keeping his word and abiding in him. The Son of God didn't give his life for us to remain carnal but for us to be conformed to His image and fulfill his kingdom mandate. God bless and enjoy your day.

The Holy Spirit is not a it! ~ Prophet Derrick Hawkins

(John14:26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.The Holy Spirit is not a it! The Holy Ghost (The Holy Spirit) is a Person, and He is God. Every person has a personality, mind, will, intellect and emotions; and the personality of the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is the fruit of the Spirit, the characteristics of Christ and God The Father, holiness, the sheckhinah glory of God's presence, the anointing & fire of God and etc. (Gal 5:22). (John 14:16-18) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. According to dictionary.com it means (used to represent an inanimate thing understood, previously mentioned, about to be mentioned, or present in the immediate context) The Holy Spirit is not a inanimate thing; He is the Comforter,The Spirit of Truth. We don't call our friends, co-workers, family, and associates its. We address them by name and with respect. How much more should we honor and respect The Holy Spirit (The Holy Ghost). The definition of person according to dictionary.com is an individual of distinction or importance. The Holy Spirit is Divinely Distinct & Important! He is so important that even Jesus Christ needed the Holy Ghost to fulfill His earthly ministry. The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is God! (1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.) Value the person of the Holy Spirit because He is God!

Treasure at the graveyard!!! (Get out of the Tomb!!!) See, Run & Worship!!! by Prophet Derrick Hawkins

Mark 5:5-7 (King James Version)
(4) Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
(5) And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and  cutting himself with stones.
(6) But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshiped him,
(7) And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. There is three significant things in this particular chapter that demoniac man done, despite how hopeless and dead his situation looked. Prior toJesus entering into the country of the Gadarenes, Jesus and His disciples were ministering to the multitudes, preaching & teaching at synagogues, villages and every town that they entered. After all of that the Lord took his disciples on a journey as they entered the ship to go over to the other side of the lake. I'm pretty sure the disciples  probably thought; we're about to get some rest before our next ministry crusade. They had no idea what was over on the other side. Even before they got to the other side they encountered a sudden storm that arose like a vicious viper on a prowl, waiting to strike them, while they were in transition on their way to the other side. Many times in our lives we encounter sudden storms even with Jesus in our ship sleep. However the disciples as fearful as they were, knew to awaken the Master by crying out to him in sincerity. Jesus immediately rebuked the wind & the raging water and instantly there was a calm. He looked at His disciples and said "where is your faith"?

We are no different than the disciples who walked with Jesus back in the biblical times. We see the Master perform miracle after miracle in our lives and the lives of others and yet when the storms of life come, and the water is filling our ship with jeopardy, and the wind is raging against us, we find ourselves crying out to him in frustration and distrust rather than out of genuine faith! Jesus knew that ship was not going to sink because He and the disciples had an appointment over on the other side of the lake. Many of us today have divine appointments over on the other side. To get to the other side is going to require active faith in Jesus and preserverance through the storms of life. Once Jesus and His disciples arrived on the other side in the country of the Gadarenes immediately they were greeted by a certain man  According to (Luke 8:27) which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. This man's home and dwelling were in the tombs and the graveyard. He was a exile from society, he couldn't be tamed because he possessed with a legion of devils residing in soul and body.  This man had enormous strength because of the legion of devils that possessed him. It was recorded in (Luke 8:29) & (Mark 5:4-5)  (4)"Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
(5) And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and  cutting himself with stones".

We get a brief description why society didn't want to deal with this man and couldn't handle him either. I guessed all of their head-knowledge, psychology, philosophy, and medication couldn't cure this man.  He was totally out of control. This man was easily 100 times plus, stronger than some of the world's strongest bodybuilders and athletes of this day and time. I can imagine how this man brought terror to that entire country by brutalizing some by his strength and insanity. I'm pretty sure that his family and friends didn't want anything to do with this man; and if he was married and had kids, they probably didn't want to bothered either. So here he is making the tombs, and the graveyard his daily habitation. Anger, rage and suicide  probably were his best of friends at that time until His appointment with the Master came. Many of us at one point in our lives we have had some things that were totally out of our control, whether it be finances, children, family, husbands, wives, friends, associates, our enemies, our mind, and last but not least ourselves. The good news is that there is somebody that is greater than you and I, and greater than any circumstance, problem, thing, person, or entity. The amazing thing about this story is we see Jesus Christ (God Almighty) express his love by, taking the time out, by accepting a ministry engagement at the graveyard; after ministering to the multitudes, publicly in synagogues, villages and various towns. Most people today would have a temper-tantrum especially if they only want to minister on the big platforms, where everyone can see them shine.  The question that we all must answer is, are we willing to go to the dark places of the earth to let our lights shine before the walking dead (people in the world that are lost) that need Christ today? I'm not saying that God doesn't want us to minister on the great platforms, radio, and TV; however we can't limit God to just one venue.

We have to be willing to go and share God's love with just one lost soul that may be dwelling in the alley, homeless and desolate; even if it is inconvenient for us. Serving God and living for him is not based on what's convenient for us; however it is based on pleasing Father God and doing His will! Jesus declared His purpose for being anointed and appointed by God The Father in Luke 4:18-19 (King James Version)
(18)The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,(19) to preach the acceptable year of the Lord! He wasn't anointed to be stationary or for himself; however he was anointed to do the will of God and to serve others. Not to prove how much power he had, in the sense of showing off; but to Glorify His Father by doing His will in the earth. The same applies to all of us today as children of the Most High God! Jesus was the answer that God sent to the other side of the lake to set the captive demoniac possessed, depressed, oppressed, blind and broken-hearted madman.

(Mark 5:6) says (6) But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshiped him.  He also fell down before Jesus according to Luke 8:28.
This man did three significant things despite how messed up he was. #1. He saw Jesus afar off. This man even in the dark state he was in saw The Light of life & Light of the world enter the graveyard from afar off ( we have to be willing to let our Light of Christ shine so that those who are in darkness can see Christ the Hope of Glory in us). Proverbs 29:18 says Where there is no vision the people perish: No matter how dark and hopeless our situation may be, if you can see Jesus afar off,you are on the road to recovery, salvation and transformation. #2. This man after he saw, he ran toJesus! He drew near to Jesus despite the strength of the legion of devils that were taking residence in him and constantly tormenting him. I believe the very presence and sight of Jesus gave this man the strength to draw near. After we see Jesus afar off in our dark situations, we must immediately respond by running to Him instead of away from Him! Finally, once we get to Jesus we must bowand worship Him (True worship requires surrendering our will and issues unto Jesus), just like the man possessed with the legion of devils.

After Jesus set this man free by casting out the legion of devils in him; according to( Luke 8:35)"Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, (positioned in a place of humility & worship after his deliverance) clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid". The people in the town were afraid because they knew that nobody could heal him or tame him, until that man encountered Jesus Christ! I believe that deep on the inside that this man was crying out in agony to be set free from his bondage, that it caught Jesus attention while He was ministering prior to coming over to the other side of the lake. In conclusion Jesus loved this man, and saw  precious treasure in the graveyard and tomb in this man that others couldn't see and then sent him forth into ministry as an evangelist to publish the goodness of the Lord to the whole country of the Gadarenes! Let's see the treasure in others despite how grave and dark there life may appear.
Godbless you Face-book Family, and I pray that God will perfect everything concerning you all in Jesus name amen! Love you all much!

Spread Your Wings and Soar to New Heights of Glory!!!

Isaiah 40:29-31 (King James Version)
29He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall  run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

(This is the hour and season for the eagles to take flight with The King of Kings and Lord of Lords fulfilling Kingdom Destiny! This is a prophetic word that the Lord deposited in my spirit last year and He told me to share it again with His people. Godbless and be encouraged my fellow eagles!
My child I say unto thee to spread your wings, and soar like an eagle despite the winds of adversity. For I have ordained you to dwell in the heights of Glory. For I say unto you my child I'm renewing your youth even as an eagle. For a sudden manifestation of my Glory is about to shine upon you and in you and through you. For many who are on the verge of giving up will receive hope, because of my Glory that's in you, that will flow and bring healing, deliverance, and change to many. My child I say unto you  soar, above adversity, soar despite trials, soar above, people's opinions, soar above fear, rejection, and doubt. For you will not fall for I am your wings saith the Lord. I say unto you dwell, abide, and live in that secret place; dwell in the Glory of my presence saith the the Lord of host. That I may transfigure you saith the Lord with my Glory. For you are my Glory saith the Lord. For I will use you to train other eagles that are comfortable in the nest saith God. For you will be a pacesetter and a trendsetter in this generation. Continue to soar upon the wings of the wind. By doing that you are resting in me saith God. Stay consistent in seeking my face. For in my presence I have given you sneak previews of your divine destiny saith God. Do not doubt only believe despite the impossibilities saith God. For I say unto you my child, you are my peculiar treasure saith the Lord and I will not allow anybody, not even you to stop my divine plan and purpose for your life saith God. For you are pregnant with an Eternal legacy and dynasty saith the Lord. My Daughter my Son know your orgin for you are royalty saith God. For you are my peculiar treasure saith God. I am preparing you for the next phase of your ministry saith the Lord. Make record of the divine accounts that I have given thee, and of future accounts. I am about to reveal deep intimate things to you; concerning many things. Do not accept any offer if my peace is not present. Do not compromise with snakes, vipers, wolves, leeches, scorpions, or vultures, for they seek to defile your vessel. For through your keen-eyesight that I have given thee you will know them. Do not allow your emotions to get in the way; walk in the Spirit. For my Spirit knows what is best for you. For everything that looks good and sounds good is not good for you.Only that which is from me is good for you. For good things only come from me. My child I say unto you in this hour it is vital that you stay and be obedient to me because much is on the line right now. For I the Lord seeth the heart and I know what is best for you saith God. Don't try to figure out the exact timing, know that it is done saith God. I have been preparing you for a long time saith God and know that the time is near for me to bring into fruition that which I have already done in the Spirit saith God. I say unto you my children resist not my will but yield. For in yielding you are allowing me to perform my good word quicker; in not yielding it would delay but it will still come to pass saith God. For I have impregnated you with this for quite some time, and the time is drawing near. Seek my face diligently because it is vital saith God. For nations are connected to you, for many souls shall come to know my son Jesus through the testimony I have given unto you. Rejoice and be glad my children for I am with you always saith the Almighty God!

Glory to Yeshua The Holy Lamb of God! Jesus Christ The King of Kings and Lord of Lords!  Godbless you my fellow eagles, lets stay unified and love one another as Christ loves us; soar to new heights in Christ! I love you all much!

God is doing a NEW thing! 2011 is time to get out of the desert!

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland”. ~ Isaiah 43:18-19 ~ NIV

Do not dwell in the past, but learn from it. It is time to leave the desert. God is doing a new thing!!

I’ve spent too many years in the desert. I figured I could do it on my own. I didn’t want anyone telling me how to live my life – not even God. And what a mess I was. I have been told that I have this habit of talking too much & not listening in conversation. I have been told that I am too busy trying to speak my mind that I don’t hear anything else but the sound of my own voice. It is the same thing I have been doing to God. And that has kept me in the desert even longer.

When we accept Jesus as Lord & Savior of our lives, we are accepting His LORDSHIP over our lives. We are surrendering control of our lives to Him. But don’t get it all twisted. I am not talking about a domineering, militant God. I am talking about a loving God a loving Father. One who loved us so much that He gave us the free will to mess up our lives. And even before we were born, He already cleaned up that mess when Jesus paid for our sins when He died on the cross. He already made the way!

That’s the first thing we learn – even before we become saved – John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life"

All through my life I tried to do it on my own, I pretty much told the Lord, "Don't worry Father, I can do this. . ." And God let me do it. BUT, every time I fell He always, always picked me up, nurtured my wounds, even though I wasn't faithful to Him - He was faithful to me, with His love, His mercy, & His grace. What an awesome God we serve!

We need to go to God boldly, but humbly with repentance & reverence and with expectancy. When there is no humanly way out of a situation and you have nothing left to hold on to but your faith, that's when you hold on for dear life, but you let go & give it to God & put your total & complete faith & trust in Him. He will bring you through it. In the face of adversity keep focused on Jesus-watch how God moves when you keep your faith and trust in Him. Giving Him control.

His will for our lives is perfect. God wants us to be obedient to Him & to totally step out in faith in everything we ask for, SPEAK AS IF WE ALREADY HAVE what we are believing God for, ACT AS IF WE ALREADY ARE LIVING THE MANIFESTATION OF it. If we do that, we call it into existence. IT WILL HAPPEN!!! Stop speaking doubt, worry, fear, maybe, what if, etc. GET THAT TALK OUT OF YOUR VOCABULARY & those thoughts out of your head!! With Jesus as Lord of our lives we are the sons & daughters of the most High King!!! Start acting like it!!! Get your Word on daily – feast on the spiritual food that God has given us!! Spend time with God in prayer & meditation. Your life will change dramatically!!

Faith is not an easy concept for us, because it is believing what we cannot see with our human eyes - we need to stop seeing our lives in the natural - but with our spiritual eyes. Look at Abraham – God promised that he would be a father of many nations. Abraham was about 100 years old, & Sarah’s child bearing years were also long gone. They did not have any children & there was no humanly possible way to see where this would ever happen. But Abraham was a man of God, strong in his faith.

Abraham stepped out in faith – God called him, & he simply obeyed without question, not knowing why. Hebrews 11:8, "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."

As humans, we always ask why – we need to know before we go. We need to change our mind set & just totally trust God – like Abraham – just obey God without question. Step out in faith.

As it says in Romans 4:20-21, talking about Abraham, "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform."

This is pure & total FAITH & trusting God!! It is obedience. Abraham did not look at his own body, but he believed in hope, against all hope, according to that which was spoken. He did not stagger in unbelief, but he was strong in his faith, giving all glory to God – Abraham was fully persuaded that what God had promised him, we was able also to perform – and God honored his faith!

Faith takes obedience because God tells us we must have faith. So when we operate in faith we are operating in obedience. God will honor our faith & trust in Him. I know that the waiting is the hardest part. We tend to get weary & then we are vulnerable to when the enemy starts whispering negative thoughts & defeat in our ear. That is when we need to take our stand in who we are in Jesus. Jesus already defeated satan – don’t give satan any room to tear you down – and all your negativity, worry, fear, concern, are all weapons of the enemy. If you let them over come you – you start questioning God – you step out of obedience. You step out of God’s will. You hold things up even longer. Stop speaking negatively. Stop questioning God, stop asking why. Shut your mouth long enough to hear something other than your own voice – you will hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit from within you.

God has already made the way out of the desert – the wasteland of your past – God is doing a new thing!!
